This stainless steel sanitary Y strainer uses a removable perforated basket positioned in an angled branch to capture solid particles from process liquids while allowing routine inspection and cleaning. SS304 and SS316L construction, sanitary connection options and stainless steel strainer elements are consistent with established hygienic filtration equipment used to protect pumps, valves, meters and other downstream components.
Available configurations include 1″–4″ sanitary connections, 50–300 μm filtration ratings, interchangeable gasket materials and mirror-polished or electropolished surface options. The removable threaded cover provides access to the basket without dismantling the complete pipeline, making this Y strainer suitable for industrial filtration solutions where sanitary construction, solids removal and maintainability are important sourcing considerations. Hygienic strainer manufacturers commonly use 316L wetted construction, Tri-Clamp connections and serviceable screening elements for comparable process applications.
